Mike previously co-founded and was a managing partner of RSM Marketing, a firm providing an Outsourced Marketing Department to companies across all industries nationwide. Mike also was CEO of a Wichita, Kansas ad agency serving larger clients such as Cargill and Cox Communications. Mike also founded and sold a technology company providing solutions within the digital outdoor space. He is a retired Marine Corps lieutenant colonel who served as a public affairs officer in New York City, the Pentagon and NORAD where he led media relations and information operations in the aftermath of 9/11. Mike has a master’s degree in marketing communication from the University of Kansas and taught strategic marketing for years in Newman University's MBA program where his unorthodox approach to marketing and instruction earned him the highest student scores within the program. He resides in Kansas City, Missouri.
Bruce spent more than two decades in the advertising industry working in some of the largest advertising agencies in the world starting in Los Angeles to Southeast Asia where he led regional offices in Singapore, Hong Kong, Vietnam, China and Japan. Those firms included Saatchi & Saatchi, Chiat/Day and DDB Worldwide, teams lauded for their creativity. Bruce initially made his living by generating “rabbits-out-of-the-hat” creative marketing strategies. He was on the team that launched the Lexus brand and has worked with Fortune 100 companies globally. He returned to his hometown of Wichita, Kansas to raise his family and there he and Mike worked together growing two marketing firms and applying their unusual experiences and strategic marketing acumen with middle-market companies. Bruce was also the Global Brand Director at Invista, owned by Koch Industries and was vice president of sales for a national software company in the medical records space. He resides in Wichita, Kansas.
